Fred Corlew, 90, passed away on June 21, 2024 at his home surrounded by family.
A lifetime Ashtabula resident, he was born on June 14, 1934 in Ashtabula to Rudd and Gladys (Underwood) Corlew.
Fred was 1952 graduate of Edgewood High School where he excelled in sports, lettering in football, basketball, track. He also active in numerous school activities.
Fred was an Engineer working for his own company, Corlew Industries, for over 40 years before retiring in 2007.
He enjoyed reading, westerns, and canoeing.
Fred was preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Shirley; his brothers, Rudd, Raymond, Ronnie, Gerald, and Dale Corlew; and his sister, Shirley McMillion.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Fred Corlew, Mark Corlew, Michael (Melanie) Corlew, and Kelley (Steven) Blair; his sisters, Alice Noss and Betty Emery; his grandchildren, Philip (Emily) Blair and Ellen (Ryan) Frantz; and his great grandchildren, Liliana and Travis Frantz, and Phoebe Blair.
