Lawrence "Larry" E. Betts, 86, passed June 21, 2024 in Geneva. Born in Andover on November 26, 1937, he was a son of Harold and Mary Jean (Williams) Betts. Larry was a batch plant supervisor for RW Sidley, and he had worked for Reliance Corp. and owned Larry's Texaco.
Larry loved to spend time with his family and he could fix anything. Some of his favorite things were tinkering at the barn on Bennett Road, Nascar, travel, gardening and riding motorcycles.
Left to cherish his memory, are his wife: Karen; Children: Pamela (Robert) Bennett of Mentor; Dianne Larkins of Saybrook; Michael (Stephanie Stewart) of Geneva; Janet (John) Reed of Colorado; Dawn (Joe) Pallutch of N. Kingsville; Albert (Amy) Jordan of Englewood, FL and Richard (Jessica) Jordan of Greensburg, PA; 19+ Grandchildren and 19+ Great Grandchildren and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren; Siblings: Carol Dillon of Andover; Charles (Jane) Betts of Tennessee; and Duane (Linda) Betts of Texas.
