Williamsfield, Ohio - Deborah Kaye Kohta, age 66, died at home surrounded by her family, on Monday, July 1, 2024. She was born on October 15, 1957, in Ardmore, Oklahoma, the daughter of Nancy Lee (Bishop) Slater and Kenneth Fredrick Kepner. Debbie was a 1976 Joseph Badger High School graduate and attended Youngstown State University. On September 15, 1984, she married David Alan Kohta. She was a realtor, working for several local real estate agents, Howard Hanna, and Price Real Estate, retiring at the end of 2023, and belonged to the National Association of Realtors. Debbie attended God's House Church of Williamsfield, Ohio, and served as an officer for FFA Alumni. You could find Debbie picking berries for a fresh pie, or out on a walk with her dog, either around the neighborhood or down by the lake.
