Robert M. Burnett, 83, passed away on August 15, 2024, at the Ashtabula Regional Medical Center.
He was born on February 1, 1941, in Andover, Ohio, the son of Gale and Clara (Burtt) Burnett.
Bob was a 1959 graduate of Andover (P.V.) High School.
On September 30, 1961, he married Catherine Fleisher, his classmate from grade school who became his best friend, love-of-his-life, and devoted bride of nearly 63 years. Together they made a family of 5 children, who went on to give them grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as a lifetime of the most priceless memories.
Bob was one of the county's most popular and well liked meat cutters. He worked for A&P, Thrifty Aisles, Orwell Golden Dawn, BiLo, and Giant Eagle as well as being the owner of Chapman's Food Service for 31 years. He was a member of U.F.C.W. Local 880, and the Ohio Assoc. of Meat Processors; he was also a member of St. Joseph Calasanctius Church (serving as religious ed teacher and on several councils) and Knigh
