Ernest F. Zimmerman, 75, passed away on August 16, 2024, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. He was born on September 27, 1948, in Erie, PA to Ransom and Genevieve (Truex) Zimmerman.
Ernest was a veteran that served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He also served in the Army National Guard in Pennsylvania and Arizona.
Ernest was Self Employed. He enjoyed fishing, traveling and taking cruises, car shows, and spending time at camp with his family and extended camp family.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and his son, Kevin Zimmerman.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Shaun (Roxanne) Zimmerman of Greenville, Pennsylvania, Jacqueline Parnell Zimmerman of Jefferson, Ohio, Eric Zimmerman of Long Beach, California, and Zimmerman both of Girard, Pennsylvania; his grandchildren, Joseph Burdick, Kelsie Thomas, Kyle Nelson, Colin Nelson, and Amanda Kirby; his great grandchildren, Aubriella, Madilynn, Boston, Raina, Avery, Bella, Ollie, Cooper, Lydia, Jaxin and Koltyn
