Donna Jean Brecht, 71, of Meadville passed away peacefully surrounded by family in the care of her granddaughter, on Thursday, August 22, 2024. She was born July 27, 1953, in Meadville, PA the daughter of the late Howard and Muriel (Phillips) Stein. A lifelong resident of Meadville, she graduated from Meadville High School in 1971. Donna attended St. John's United Church of Christ in Meadville in her younger years. She enjoyed growing up in the country on a small horse farm. She enjoyed wildlife and was a "Daddy's Girl". She liked to play BINGO and listen to Elvis. Some of her favorite shows she liked to watch were Days of Our Lives and Wrestling. Donna was a selfless person and always put others first. She raised her son and her grandchildren and was extremely family oriented. She will be missed by all who knew her. She is survived by her son, Rodney Brecht; grandchildren, Cameron Brecht and Kyla Brecht who cared for her until the very end; her great-grandchildren, Waylon and Brentle
