Janice Kay Johnson, 75, passed away on Wednesday, March 5, 2025 at her home in Ashtabula.
She was born on March 20, 1949 in Ashtabula the daughter of Lyle and Patricia (Hassett) Bailey.
Janice graduated from Ashtabula High School and went on to become the owner of Cambrian Kennels for over 40 years. She retired in June of 2022. Her true passion was showing and breeding her english springer spaniels. She also enjoyed gatherings where she loved to cook for family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Patricia (Jeffrey) Spring, Carol (Clayton) Hamilton, Kimberly Johnson, and Keith Johnson; daughter-in-law, Autumn Kightlinger; grandchildren, Joshua Spring, Corrinne Spring, Ashley Kightlinger, Kayla Sullivan, Joseph Ford, Christian Johnson, Kylee Hamilton, Brandon Johnson, Logan Johnson, Vivianne Johnson, Aria Johnson; great grandchildren, Valerie Elvis, and Lea Kightlinger. Also left to cherish her memories are several nieces and nephews.
