Orwell – Victoria "Vicki" E. Hopes, age 90 passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Windsor House of Champion on Saturday, March 8, 2025. She was born on September 23, 1934 in Cleveland, the daughter of Almerin and Eva (Funk) Turner. Vicki graduated from Chardon High School in 1952 and married Wifred "Bill" Hopes on February 14, 1959. She was Grand Valley School Secretary for 36 years. Vicki was a member of the Orwell United Methodist Church, Pearl Lehn Circle, Vintage Chevrolet Club of America and Monday Nite Merrimakers Bowling League. She was a majorette for the Geauga County Fair Band for eight years, a Cleveland Guardians and Cavaliers fan, also enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, and bowling. Vicki and Bill traveled to 47 states and loved attending events that their grandsons and great grandchildren were involved in.
