Lynn Rae Lemmon, 68, of Jefferson passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family on Tuesday, March 18, 2025.
She was born May 10, 1956, in Geneva, Ohio, the daughter of the late Charles and Shirley (Dostie) Pelton Sr. A lifelong area resident, Lynn graduated from Ashtabula High School Class of 1974. She married the love of her life Alan Lemmon on June 16, 1980.
Lynn worked as a social worker at Job and Family services for over 30 years before her retirement. She enjoyed crocheting, doing crafts, baking cookies for the holidays, watching soap operas and online shopping. Most of all she loved spending time with family, especially the grandchildren, who she loved to facetime and sing to. Lynn is survived by her children Shannon (Andrew) Knight, Wade (Amber Johnson) Lemmon, Cherrie (Tim) Greer, Jason A. (Jennifer) Lemmon, and Lori (Bob) Beatty; grandchildren, TJ Greer, Catherine Greer, Tiffany (Tim) Tuttle, Ben Greer, Kaden Lemmon, Nicole Beatty, Bob Beatty, Cassandra (Josh) Shaffer,
