Mark A. Platt, 65, of Ashtabula passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, March 19, 2025 at the Ashtabula Regional Medical Center. He was born August 29, 1960, in Martin's Ferry, Ohio, the son of the late James and Margaret (Irvin) Platt. Mark married Burnette "Bonnie" Miller and shared many great years with her. Mr. Platt retired from Community Action where he worked in the weatherization department. He was known by many as "Mr. Fix It". He was an avid Pittsburgh Steeler's fan and enjoyed Barbecuing and listening to R&B music. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by his wife, Bonnie Platt; children, Deandre Platt, Jazmin Platt, Brian (Crystal) Crockett, and Shawnna Stewart; brothers, Ron (Candice) Platt, Tyrone (Margie) Platt, and Brian (Kathleen) Platt; and many grandchildren.
